Elizabeth Ann Hazelrigg was born on 1 Sep 1841 in Greensbrug, IndianaG.4,5,6
     She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Marion Twp., Decatur Co., IndianaG, in the household of her parents, Charles Hazelrigg and Caroline S. McCoy.15 She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Marion Twp., Decatur Co., IndianaG, in the household of her parents.16
     Elizabeth married first Chilion J. Wilson on 18 Oct 1864 in Decatur Co., IndianaG, with D. R. VanBuskirk officiating.7,8,9
     Elizabeth and Chilion appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Decatur Co., IndianaG, enumerated 25 Jun 1870, reporting no real estate or personal estate. Their children George and Edmond were listed as living with them.17
     Her husband died on 28 Nov 1874.18,19
     Elizabeth appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Decatur Co., Indiana, G in the household of her parents, with her two sons George and Edmond.20
     Elizabeth applied for a widow's pension based on her late husband's Civil War service on 7 Jun 1888, but it appears it was not approved until years later.21
     Elizabeth appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Greensburg, Decatur Co., Indiana, at 284 North Lincoln G, enumerated 9 Jun 1900, reporting she owned her home, free of mortgage, and her occupation as a capitalist. Her uncle, Frank McCoy, was listed as living with her.22
     Elizabeth married second Joshua S. Christy, son of Churchill G. Christy and Maria Cobb, on 30 Aug 1906 in Decatur Co., IndianaG, with D. R. Van Buskirk offciating.10,11,12
     Elizabeth and Joshua appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Greensburg, Decatur Co., Indiana, at 867 North Lincoln St. G, enumerated 16 Apr 1910, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage.23
     Her husband died on 24 Feb 1915 in Greensburg, Decatur Co., IndianaG.24
     Elizabeth's application for a pension based on the Civil War service of her first husband was approved 28 Apr 1917, effective 18 Sep 1916, for $20 per month. It was increased to $25 in 1917, and to $30 in 1920.25
     Elizabeth appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Greensburg, Decatur Co., Indiana, at 867 N Lincoln St. G, enumerated 5 Jan 1920, reporting she owned her home, free of mortgage.26
     Elizabeth died on 4 Jul 1924 in Greensburg, Decatur Co., IndianaG, at age 82.13 She was buried on 7 Jul 1924 in South Park Cemetery, Greensbrug, Decatur Co., IndianaG.14
