Theron and his brothers
Humphrey,
Hezekiah, and
Samuel all seem to have moved to Shelby Co., Tennessee
G, some time after 1810, and at least some of them before 1825. It seems likely that they did not move together, but some followed others at different times.
Theron married Delila on 22 Sep 1825 in Shelby Co., Tennessee
G, with James Harris, justice of the peace, officiating.
1 Theron appeared on the 1830 Federal Census of Shelby Co., Tennessee
G, with a household consisting of one male under age 5 (unknown), one age 20 to 30 (himself), and one age 50 to 60 (perhaps his father-in-law?) one female age 10 to 15 (unknown), and one age 20 to 30 (wife Delila), and one female slave, aged 36 to 55.
2 Research Note, 13 Jun 2018:
Theron is established as a son of Josiah and Ann by the thinnest of evidence. A Delila Cobb was named as an heir of Josiah in a deed selling his former property; Theron was married to a Delila in Shelby Co., Tennessee; he lived there in 1830 as did the other known sons of Josiah. It is supposed he had died before the deed was written.
