     She was a teacher before her marriage.¹³
     Lura married Orris Perry Cobb, son of Oliver Perry Cobb and Caroline S. Foulke, on 30 Oct 1884 in Dearborn Co., IndianaG, with Rev. E. H. Wood, minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, offciating.^7,8

     He inherited his 220-acre homestead, one of the finest in central Pennsylvania, from his grandfather, Johannes Follmer. He located there in 1865. He was a farmer all his life, one of the most progressive in the area. He was an active member of the State Board of Agriculture, elected in 1886 and again in 1889.      John served one term as auditor of Northumberland Co., and also served as school director and as overseer of the poor for Turbut Twp.²⁹
     John died on 20 Dec 1894 at age 68.^15,16 He was buried in Follmer Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Turbut Twp, Northumberland Co., PennsylvaniaG.¹⁴
