Wealthy Ann Cobb and Thomas Lathrop moved with their younger children from Wells to Shelburne, Vermont, by 1800, and a few miles north, to Burlington by 1810. Except for two daughters, their children remained nearby most of their lives. Two others joined adult children New York late in life.
  1. Abigail and her husband supposedly moved to Burlington, Vermont, then about 1812 they moved to Louisville, St. Lawrence Co., in northern New York, which later became the town of Norfolk.
  2. Wealthy Ann married a minister, whose calling took them to several towns in New Hampshire and Massachusetts before settling in Hinsdale, Cheshire Co., New Hampshire in 1816.
  3. The younger Thomas died at age 18, killed by a cart.
  4. Septimius supposedly married, but no trace has been found of him or his wife.
  5. Gideon and his wife stayed in Burlington, Vermont.
  6. Stephen and his wife lived in Burlington for a time, then moved to Addison Co., Vermont, before 1820. They apparently lived in several towns in that county, finally in Middleburg.
  7. Sally and her husband settled in Vergennes, Addison Co., Vermont, where she died in 1819.
  8. Betsey and her husband apparently settled in Williston, Chittenden Co., Vermont after their marriage. She died only a year later, and he then married her sister Mary.
  9. Mary and her husband lived in Williston, then moved to Monkton, Addison Co., Vermont. They moved to Palmyra, Wayne Co., in western New York, by 1860, where they lived with their son Thomas until their deaths.
  10. No trace has been found of Nancy and her husband until she appeared, apparently as a widow, with her sister Mary in the household of Mary's son Thomas in Palmyra, Wayne Co., New York, in 1870.
  11. John and his wife settled in Burlington, Vermont.
  12. Reference to Clarissa has been found in only a single source, with no dates; she may have died young, or this reference may have been in error.
