He says it is based on research at "Library of Congress, the National Archives, the Bureau of Land Management in the Department of Interior, and other departments and agencies at our Nation's capital." Copies reportedly exist at the Mississippi State University library and the Clayton Genealogical Library, Houston, Texas. Transcriptions have circulated on the Mims surname list on Rootsweb, and my copy was corrected based on proofreading by John Mims, who owns a photocopy of an original.
