     Lura C. Milburn was born on 22 May 1857 in Indiana.8,9,10
     She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Aurora, Dearborn Co., Indiana, in the household of her parents, John Nelson Milburn and Mary E. Hope.14 She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Aurora, Dearborn Co., Indiana, in the household of her parents.15 She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Aurora, Dearborn Co., Indiana, in the household of her parents.6
     She was a teacher before her marriage.16
     Lura married Orris Perry Cobb, son of Oliver Perry Cobb and Caroline S. Foulke, on 30 Oct 1884 in Dearborn Co., Indiana, with Rev. E. H. Wood, minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, offciating.11,12
     Lura was named an heir in the will of Oliver Perry Cobb, her father-in-law, dated 6 Oct 1890 in Aurora, Indiana, in which she was to receive, if his wife was not living at his death, an equal share of all his property with five other heirs.17
     Lura was named an heir in the will of Caroline S. Foulke, her mother-in-law, dated 16 Jan 1891 in Aurora, Indiana, in which she was to receive, after the death of her father-in-law, $4,000, and an equal share with five other heirs after their legacies were paid.18
     Lura and Orris appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Norwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at Beech St., enumerated 26 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Listed as living with them were her sister, Nellie F. Milburn, Warren A. Wilber, age 7 who was listed as a boarder, as was his nephew Oliver Gilbert Bailey, a 23-year-old lawyer, and Emma J. Rankin, a 25-year-old servant.19

Her sister Nellie, Warren A. Wilber, age 17 and listed as a boarder, and Annie M. Moran, a 27-year-old servant, are listed as living with them.20
     Lura and Orris appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Norwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 2623 Norwood Ave., enumerated 7 Jan 1920, reporting that they owned their home, free of mortgage. Her sister Nellie and Laura Ashburn, a 59-year-old servant, are listed as living with them.21
     Lura and Orris appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Norwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 2623 Norwood Ave., enumerated 6 Apr 1930, reporting that they owned a home valued at $10,000, and owned a radio. Her sister Nellie and Laura Ashburn, a 69-year-old servant, are listed as living with them.22
     Lura died on 26 Jan 1937 at age 79.13 She was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.13
