     Lora Fitch Cobb was born on 11 Apr 1824 in Rochester, Monroe Co., New York.6,7,8
     Her father died on 21 Sep 1826, when Lora was 2 years old.4,11,12
     Lora was probably one of the two females age 15 to 20 appearing on the 1840 Federal Census of Rochester, Monroe Co., New York, in the household of William Ingersol Hanford, husband of her sister Julia.13
     Lora appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Rochester, Monroe Co., New York, in the household of her William and Julia. Their mother was also living with them.14
     Lora moved to Buffalo, where her sister Wealthy and her family were living, between 1850 and 1855. She appeared on the 1855 State Census of Buffalo, Erie Co., New York, in the household of her sister Wealthy and her husband, Leonard White.15
     Lora moved to Michigan, where her sister Abigail and her family were living, between 1855 and 1860. Lora appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Monroe, Monroe Co., Michigan, in the household of her sister Abigail and her husband, Charles Greene Johnson.16
     Lora has not been found in the 1870 census, but moved back to Rochester about that time. She applied for a passport on 2 Aug 1873. In the application she said she was about to travel abroad, but provided no details.17
     Lora appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Rochester, Monroe Co., New York, in the household of her sister Julia and her husband, William Ingersol Hanford.18
     She was a teacher.19
     Lora died in Aug 1904 at age 80.9 She was buried on 25 Aug 1904 in Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester, Monroe Co., New York.10
