     Leonard White was born on 16 Nov 1810 in Connecticut.4,5,6
     Leonard married first Wealthy Maria Cobb, daughter of William Cobb and Lora Fitch, in 1837.7,8,9
     Leonard and Wealthy settled in Michigan after their marriage. They returned to New York about 1846 with their two daughters.16 They appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Buffalo, Erie Co., New York, enumerated 1 Aug 1850. Their children Arrestine and Julia were listed as living with them, as were Grace Mald, age 21, and Jeanie, age 1 and apparently her daughter, and Samuel White, age 64 and perhaps his father.17
     Leonard and Wealthy appeared on the 1855 State Census of Buffalo, Erie Co., New York, enumerated 8 Jun 1855, reporting that they lived in a frame dwelling valued at $2,500. Their children Arrestine, Julia and Lora were listed as living with them, as were her sister Lora and two servants, Margarite Laney and Elizabeth Randall.1
     His wife died on 19 Sep 1858.18
     Leonard married second Julia Morgan, daughter of Orra [surname unknown], on 28 Aug 1859 in Kent Co., Michigan.10,11,12
     Leonard and Julia appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Buffalo, Erie Co., New York, enumerated 31 Jul 1860, reporting real estate valued at $2,000 and personal estate of $500. His children by his prior marriage, Arrestine, Julia and Lora, were listed as living with them, as were her mother and Kate O'Brian, a 23-year old servant.2
     Leonard and Julia appeared on the 1865 State Census of an unknown place , enumerated 21 Jun 1865, reporting they lived in a plank house valued at $2,000. His daughter Lora was listed as living with him, as was Rika Fiestons, a 20-year-old servant.19
     Leonard and Julia appeared on the 1870 Federal Census enumerated 21 Jun 1870, reporting real estate valued at $20,000 and personal estate of $25,000. Their daughter Jenny was listed as living with them, as was Lena Sybenella, a 16-year-old domestic servant.20
     Leonard and Julia appeared on the 1875 State Census of Buffalo, Erie Co., New York, reporting they lived in a frame house valued at $3,500. Their daughter Jenny was listed as living with them, as was Polly Graser, a 20-year-old servant.21
     Leonard and Julia appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Buffalo, Erie Co., New York, at 78 7th St., enumerated 15 Jun 1880. Their daughter Jenny was listed as living with them.22

     Julia died on 11 Jul 1885 in Buffalo, Erie Co., New York.27,28
     Leonard died on 31 Dec 1893 in Buffalo, Erie Co., New York, at age 83.13,5 He was buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, Erie Co., New York, between his two wives.14,15
