Phoebe Stone was born on 12 Mar 1794 in Connecticut.4,5
     Phoebe married Calvin D. Cobb, son of Ebenezer Cobb and Elizabeth Lathrop, on 29 Jun 1817 in Middletown, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania.6,7,8 She was probably the female age 26 to 45 listed in the household of her husband, Calvin D. Cobb, in the 1820 Federal Census of Middletown, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania.10 She was probably the female age 30 to 40 listed in the household of her husband in the 1830 Federal Census of Middletown, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania.11 She was probably the female age 40 to 50 listed in the household of her husband in the 1840 Federal Census of Middletown Twp., Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania.12
     Phoebe and Calvin appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Middletown Twp., Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 5 Dec 1850, reporting real estate valued at $2,500. Their son Nathan was listed as living with them.13
     Phoebe and Calvin appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Forest Lake, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 19 Jul 1860, reporting real estate valued at $2,700 and personal estate of $1,050. They were apparently living close to their son Elmer and his family, as they are listed as the previous entry on the census record.14
     Phoebe and Calvin appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Forest Lake, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 11 Aug 1870, reporting real estate valued at 44,000. Their son Elmer was listed as living with them, with his second wife, Norcissa Fish, their children Laura, Vilroy and Newton, and Laura's daughter Anna Newton. Also listed was Jane Fish, a domestic servant age 23, who may have been a relative of Elmer's wife.15
     Phoebe died on 2 Apr 1871 at age 77.3,9 She was buried in Stone Street Cemetery, Forest Lake, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania, next to her husband.3
