     Charles Baird was born in Mar 1865 in Indiana.4,5
     Charles married Luretta E. Noble, daughter of John W. Noble and Margaret [surname unknown], on 22 Feb 1893 in Ray Co., Missouri.6,7
     Charles and Luretta moved to Oklahoma Territory between 1897 and 1900 with their two children. They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Perkins Twp., Payne Co., Oklahoma Territory, enumerated 8 Jun 1900. Their children Vera and James were listed as living with them.2
     He was a day laborer, working for a railroad.8,9
     Charles and Luretta appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Stillwater Twp., Payne Co., Oklahoma, enumerated 25 Apr 1910. Their children Vera, James, Thomas and Omar were listed as living with them.3
     Charles filed suit against Frank V. Tyler in Payne Co., Oklahoma, district court, charging alenation of his wife's affections and asking for $10,000 in damages. The suit was decided 21 Oct 1910, in favor of the defendant.10
     It appears Charles and Luretta were divorced, but no record of the divorce has been found.
     
Research Note, 29 Nov 2015:
No further record of Charles has been found. His wife remarried about 1911, but it is unknown whether they were divorced or he died. He has not been found on available cemetry lists in Stillwater. He may be one of the several Charles Bairds born about 1865 in Indiana who can be found in later records, but if so he has not been identified.
