Narrative:

     Catherine Christ was born about 6 Oct 1780 in Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, supposedly in East Buffalo Twp., Northumberland Co.6,7,8
     She was probably one of the five females listed in the household of her father, Adam Christ, in the 1790 Federal Census of Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania.17 She was probably one of the three females age 16 to 25 listed in the household of her father in the 1800 Federal Census of East Buffalo Twp., Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania.18
     Catherine married John Gann about 1801 in Milton, Pennsylvania.9,10,11
     She was probably the female age 26 to 45 listed in the household of her husband, John Gann, in the 1810 Federal Census of Nippenose Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania.19 She was probably the female age 26 to 45 listed in the household of her husband in the 1820 Federal Census of Nippenose Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania.20 She was probably the female age 50 to 60 listed in the household of her husband in the 1830 Federal Census of Adams Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania.21
     She was probably the female age 50 to 60 listed in the household of her husband in the 1840 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania.22
     Her husband died on 10 Mar 1842.23,24
     Catherine has not been found in the 1850 census. She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her son, Israel Gann, and his wife ,Leah Moore.2
     She never learned to read or write.2
     Catherine died on 19 Oct 1864.12,13,14 She was buried in St. Peters Lutheran Church Cemetery, Collomsville, Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania.15,16
