     Sara Matilda Reigel was born on 2 Dec 1897 in La Center, Clark Co., Washington.8,9,10 She was known to family as Sadie Mat.3,19,20
     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Chelatchie, Clark Co., Washington, in the household of her parents, Ralph Orzben Reigel and Edith Jennie Roberts.6
     She moved to Oregon with her parents about 1908, when they took up homesteading there, having first lived for a time in Idaho. She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Silver Lake, Lake Co., Oregon, in the household of her parents.21
     Sara married Vernon Ray Hall, son of Don Carlos Hall and Martha Ellen Emert, on 31 Oct 1918 in Waterville, Douglas Co., Washington, with Rev. George E. Heineck officiating.11,12,13
     Sara and Vernon moved to Oregon, where her parents were living, soon after their marriage. They appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Terrebonne, Deschutes Co., Oregon, enumerated 22 Jan 1920, reporting that they were renting their home. Their son Vincent was listed as living with them, as where as his parents.22
     Sara and Vernon and their two sons moved back to Washington by 1930. They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington, at 1429 57th St, enumerated 21 Apr 1930, reporting that the family owned a home worth $2500, and did not have a radio. Their children Vincent and Clifford were listed as living with them.23 Elizabeth Delia Reigel spend her summers with her father and the school years with her aunt, Sara.24
     Sara and Vernon appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington, at 4122 S. M St., enumerated 5 Apr 1940, reporting they were renting their home, for $22 per month.25
     Sara and Vernon moved to Skamania Co. about 1949. They appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of North Bonneville, Skamania Co., Washington, at East 3rd St., enumerated 17 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm, and they had lived in Pierce Co. the year before.26
     Sara was living in Roseburg, Oregon, in 1955.27 She applied for a Social Security Number 13 Aug 1963, while living at 7227 Martin Way, Olympia, Washington.5
     Her husband died on 1 Sep 1978 in Pierce Co., Washington.28,29
     Sara died on 5 Sep 1979 in Ashland, Jackson Co., Oregon, at age 81, while visiting her sister Juanita.14,15,16 She was buried in Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington.17,18
