Narrative:

     Naomi Constance Wynne was born on 13 Jun 1906 in 609 Second St., Cottage Grove, Lane Co., Oregon.1,8,9 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Cottage Grove, Lane Co., Oregon, in the household of her parents, Harry Fielding Wynne and Jennie Alice Veatch.5 She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Cottage Grove, Lane Co., Oregon, in the household of her parents.17 She appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Cottage Grove, Lane Co., Oregon, in the household of her mother.7
     Naomi married Cecil Reigel, son of Frank William Reigel and Mary Smith, on 11 Apr 1931 at the home of her mother and late father, 609 2nd St., Cottage Grove, Lane Co., Oregon, with Rev. Paul Iverson of the Seventh Day Adventist church officiating.10,11,12
     After their marriage Naomi and Cecil lived with her mother at 609 Second St., Cottage Grove, Oregon.18 She and Cecil Reigel appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Cottage Grove, Lane Co., Oregon, in the household of her mother.6
     She was a bookkeeper before her marriage, and later a saleslady for Umphrey & Mackin, selling textile and food products, while living in Cottage Grove.19,20,21
     Naomi and Cecil moved to N 5323 Cannon, Spokane, Washington, about 1944, where he lived the rest of his life, and she lived for many years after his death.22,23
     Naomi and Cecil appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Spokane, Spokane Co., Washington, at 5323 N Cannon, enumerated 4 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm.24
     Her husband died on 5 May 1971 in Spokane, Spokane Co., Washington.25,26
     Naomi was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters in Spokane, and a tireless promoter of the community.14 When Expo '74, the first environmentally themed world's fair, was being planned in Spokane she showered relatives with invitations and promotional materials. Once the fair opened in 1974 she warmly hosted visiting relatives. Curiously, she warned her guests to avoid the "foreign food" offered there and sent them off with generous breakfasts, to the consternation of those who viewed the unfamiliar food offerings as part of the attraction of the fair.27
     In 1997 Naomi moved to Battle Ground, Washington, where her son and his family were living.14
     Naomi died on 2 Mar 2000 in Vancouver, Washington, at age 93.13,14 She was buried on 8 Mar 2000 in Spokane Memorial Gardens, Spokane, Washington.15,16
