     Katherine Mary Elizabeth Glabe was born on 16 Sep 1895 in Washington, Illinois.9,10,11
     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents, Levi Glabe and Mary M. Schuck.4 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents.5
     By 1917 Katherine was working in Peoria as a domestic, in the home of James A. Hunter and his family, at 303 N. Madison Ave.15
     Katherine appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois, at 519 Monroe St., enumerated 13 Jan 1920, listed as a housekeeper in the household of Dr. J. W. Parker, his wife, and adult son.16 She continued to work for the Parkers until her marriage.17
     Katherine married Samuel J. Lober, son of Peter Lober and Marie Margaret Karchar, on 30 Nov 1922 in Peoria, Illinois.12,11,13
     Katherine and Samuel appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Ash Grove Twp., Iroquois Co., Illinois, enumerated 6 May 1930, reporting they were renting their farm, and owned a radio. Their children Marian and Donna were listed as living with them.18
     Katherine and Samuel appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Ash Grove Twp., Iroquois Co., Illinois, enumerated 25 Apr 1940, reporting they were renting their home, for $10 per month, and had lived in the same house in 1935. Their children Marian, Donna and Ross were listed as living with them, as was Walter Ferdinand, a farm laborer identified as a hired hand.19
     Katherine and Samuel appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Cissna Park, Iroquois Co., Illinois, enumerated 7 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. Ray Paul, age 17, is listed as living with them.20
     Her husband died on 28 Jul 1979.21,22
     Katherine died on 5 May 1980 in Watseka, Iroquois Co., Illinois, at age 84.11,14 She was buried on 7 May 1980 in Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Cissna Park, Iroquois Co., Illinois.6
