     Nellie L. Caldwell was born on 3 Jul 1882 in New Concord, Muskingum Co., Ohio.7,8,9,10 Nellie completed eight years of elementary schooling.16
     Her father died in 1898, when Nellie was about 15 years old.17 Nellie appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Union Twp., Muskingum Co., Ohio, in the household of her mother, Mary E. White.6
     Nellie married Henry Jacob Glabe, son of John Glabe and Elizabeth Ruppel, on 4 Aug 1909 in New Concord, Muskingum Co., Ohio, with Rev. W. L. Garges officiating.11,12
     Nellie appeared with her husband on the 1910 Federal Census of Chatsworth, Livingston Co., Illinois, in the household of Elizabeth Ruppel, his mother.18
     Nellie and Henry appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Chatsworth, Livingston Co., Illinois, enumerated 12 Jan 1920. Their daughter Iva was listed as living with them.19
     Nellie and Henry moved to Paxton, some 30 miles south and east of Chatsworth, before 1930. They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Paxton, Ford Co., Illinois, at 319 Orleans St., enumerated 14 Apr 1930, reporting that they rented their home, for $25 per month, and owned a radio. Their children Iva and LaVerda were listed as living with them.20
     Nellie and Henry appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Paxton, Ford Co., Illinois, at 343 West Orleans St., enumerated 24 Apr 1940, reporting that they rented their home for $22 per month. Their daughter LaVerda was listed as living with them.16
     Nellie died on 22 Apr 1948 in Paxton, Illinois, at age 65.13,14 She was buried in Glen Cemetery, Paxton, Ford Co., Illinois.15
