     Pamela Cumming was born on 2 Jul 1889 in Bartonville, Illinois.9,10,11
     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of East Peoria, Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents, John P. Cumming and Ann Clayton.4
     Pamela married Louis Oetzel, son of Adam Oetzel and Caroline Glabe, on 23 Dec 1908 in East Peoria, Illinois.9,12,13
     She appeared with Louis on the 1910 Federal Census of Fon du Lac Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents.5
     Pamela and Louis appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, on Farmdale Rd., enumerated 6 Jan 1920, reporting they rented their home. Their children Eileen and Ann were listed as living with them.6
     Pamela and Louis moved to 119 Putnam, East Peoria, by 1922.20 They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of East Peoria, Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 5 Apr 1930, reporting that they owned a home valued at $6,000 and owned a radio. Their children Eileen and Ann were listed as living with them, as were her parents and her cousin Charles W. Hicks, age 57, unemployed.21
     Pamela and Louis were divorced about 1935.14,15
     Pamela appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of East Peoria, Tazewell Co., Illinois, at 119 Putnam, enumerated 11 Apr 1940, reporting she owned a home valued at $6,000. Her mother was listed as living with her, and both reported having lived in the same house in 1935. Also listed in the household were two boarders, Lindle Douglas, age 26, a foreman on a steam railroad, and Lawrence Sullivan, age 17, an apprentice at a tractor factory, and a roomer, Carl Murhpy, age 27, a gas station attendant.22
     She was a corsetier (corset maker) in 1930. After she and Louis divorced she worked for a time as a matron at the Alliance Life Building.23,24
     Pamela appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Fondulac Twp, Tazewell Co., Illinois, at 119 Putnam St., enumerated 3 Apr 1950, reporting she lived in a home that was not on a farm.25
     Pamela died on 30 May 1966 in East Peoria, Illinois, at age 76.16,17,18 She was buried in Fon du Lac Cemetery, East Peoria, Tazewell Co., Illinois.19
