     He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents, William Augustus Heiple and Matilda Christina Glabe.4 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents.5
     Harold registered for the draft for World War I on 12 Sep 1918, while living at Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, reporting he was employed as a farmer by his father, in Washington.2
     He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents.17
     Harold married Maude Mae Thomas, daughter of Edward Grant Thomas and Mabel Alice Sharp, on 22 Nov 1923 in Perkin, Illinois.11,12,13
     Harold and Maude appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 12 Apr 1930, reporting they were renting their home, for $20 per month, and owned a radio.      Harold and Maude appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, at 711 South Elrn St., enumerated 8 May 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm, but on over three acres.23
     He retired from Caterpillar in Feb 1962.24
     Harold died on 16 Sep 1987 in Eureka, Woodford Co., Illinois, at age 87.10,14 He was buried on 18 Sep 1987 in Glendale Cemetery, Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois.15,16
