     Dr. Warren Bell Sargent was born on 8 Jun 1803 in Pawlet, Vermont.5,6,7
     He was probably one of the two males under age 10 listed in the household of his father, Dr. John Sargent, in the 1810 Federal Census of Pawlet, Rutland Co., Vermont.13 He was probably one of the four males age 16 to 26 listed in the household of his father in the 1810 Federal Census of Pawlet, Rutland Co., Vermont.14
     Warren graduated from Middlebury College, Vermont, in 1826 with an M. D. degree.15 He was a physician, practicing in Pawlet all his adult life, continuing until shortly before his death.16,17,18,19,20
     He appeared on the 1840 Federal Census of Pawlet, Rutland Co., Vermont, with a household consisting of only one male, age 30 to 40 (himself.)21
     Warren married Betsey Cobb, daughter of Joshua D. Cobb and Nancy F. Clark, on 5 Sep 1843 in Pawlet, Vermont.8,9,10
     Warren and Betsey appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Pawlet, Rutland Co., Vermont, enumerated 26 Oct 1850, reporting real estate valued at $4,500. Their daughter Helen was listed as living with them, as was Derrick Bowman, a 22-year-old laborer from Canada.22 They appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Pawlet, Rutland Co., Vermont, enumerated 17 Aug 1860, reporting real estate valued at $4,500 and personal estate of $2,500. Their daughter Helen was listed as living with them, as was Narcisse Bassette, age 19, apparently a farm worker.23
     Warren and Betsey appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Pawlet, Rutland Co., Vermont, enumerated 1 Aug 1870, reporting real estate valued at $4,000 and personal estate of $1,000. Their daughter Helen was listed as living with them.24 They appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Pawlet, Rutland Co., Vermont, enumerated 15 Jun 1880. Narcisse Bassette, a 45-year-old farm laborer, was listed as living with them.25
     Warren died on 28 Jun 1891 in Pawlet, Vermont, at age 88.5,11 He was buried in Mettowee Valley Cemetery, now known as the Old Pawlet Cemetery, Pawlet, Vermont.12
