     Charles James Hauck was born on 29 Jan 1912 in Union Co., Pennsylvania.7,8,9
     He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Kelly Twp., Union Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents, John Clarence Hauck and Stella Ida Delaney.4 He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Milton, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents.15
     Charles married first Lucille Blanch Mingle, daughter of Elmer Mingle and Cora Weller, about 1933.10,11
     Charles and Lucille Blanch Mingle appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Pottsgrove, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, reporting they were renting their home, for $10 per month, and had lived in the same house in 1935. Their children Shirley, Kenneth and Donald were listed as living with them.16
     Charles registered for the draft for World War II on 16 Oct 1940, while living at Potts Grove, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, reporting he was employed by Chef Boiardi Ford Product Co. in Milton.2
     His wife died on 10 Apr 1950 in Lewisburg, Union Co., Pennsylvania.17,18
     Charles appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of East Chillisquaque, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, at Rt. 145, enumerated 14 Apr 1950, reporting he lived in a home that was not on a farm. His children Shirley, Kenneth, Donald and Leroy were listed as living with him.19
     Charles married second Frances May Simons, daughter of Bertha Mae Simons, and widow of his first cousin once removed, Lester M. Aucker, on 3 Dec 1950 in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, with W. G. Reedy officiating.12,13
     He was a taxi driver in 1930, at age 18, and a truck driver for a canning factory by 1940. That year he reported he had worked 60 hours the last week of April, and had worked 51 weeks the prior year, earning $1,500. He reported in the 1950 census he was unable to work. Later he became a farmer.20,21,22,23
     Charles died on 21 Dec 1962 in East Chillisquaque Twp., Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, at age 50.5,14 He was buried on 24 Dec 1962 in Milton Cemetery, Milton, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania.5
