     David A. Flora was born on 5 Apr 1849 in Franklin Co., Pennsylvania.6,7,8
     He appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Letterkenny Twp., Franklin Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents, George Flora and Mary A. Glenn.14 He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Upper Strasburg, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents.15 He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Upper Strasburg, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents. His future wife was listed as living with the family, apparently as a boarder.16
     David married Sarah E. Over, daughter of David Over and Margaret Richards, about 1878.9,10,11

     David died on 20 Feb 1925 in Chambersburg, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania, at age 75.3 He was buried on 24 Feb 1925 in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.12,13
