     Morris Hazen Goodwin was born on 22 Jan 1879 in Dover, New Hampshire.9,10,11
     He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Dover, Strafford Co., New Hampshire, in the household of his parents, Samuel H. Goodwin and Helen E. Gowen.4 He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, in the household of his parents.5
     Morris married Nina Edwina Frohock, daughter of John R. Frohock and Clara A. Thomas, on 24 Apr 1901 in Boston, Massachusetts, with Charles E. Silloway, justice of the peace, officating.12
     Morris and Nina settled in her native Rockland, Maine, after their marriage, but returned to Boston by 1903, when their second son was born there. They appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Belmont, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, at 114 White St., enumerated 29 Apr 1910, reporting they were renting their home, half of a two-family dwelling. Their children Hazen and John were listed as living with them.16
     He apparently used the given name Maurice for a time after the family moved to Massachusetts.16,17
     Morris registered for the draft for World War I on 12 Sep 1918, while living at 49 Hillside Terrace, Belmont, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, reporting he was employed as as a follow up man by Bethlehem Ship Building Co. in Squantum, Massachusetts.3
     Morris and Nina appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Belmont, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, at 47 Hillside Terrace, enumerated 30 Jan 1920, reporting they were renting their home, half of a two-family dwelling. Their children Hazen, John and Doris were listed as living with them.17
     Morris and Nina appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Weymouth, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts, at 216 Union St., enumerated 15 Apr 1930, reporting they owned a home valued at $5,000 and owned a radio. Their daughter Doris was listed as living with them.18
     Morris and Nina appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Weymouth, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts, at 285 Pond St., enumerated 24 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $7,000, and had lived in the same house in 1935.19
     Morris registered for the draft for World War II on 27 Apr 1942, while living at 285 Pond, South Weymouth, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts, reporting he was employed by Bethlehem Steel Co. in Quincy, Massachusetts.20
     He was a salesman in 1900. His occupation was reported as a clerk when he married, and manager of a plantation a few months later. By 1910 he was clerk working with produce, and manager by 1913.21,22,23,24,25 He was a material engineer at a shipyard by 1920. In 1930 he was a store keeper there. By 1940 his title there was superintendent of material. That year he reported he had worked 48 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, earning over $5,000.26,27,28
     Morris and Nina appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Weymouth, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts, at 285 Rd. St., enumerated 10 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm.29
     Morris and Nina later moved to southern California, as did at least two of their adult children, John and Doris.
     His wife died on 19 Oct 1953 in San Diego Co., California.30
     Morris died on 22 Feb 1962 in San Diego Co., California, at age 83.13,14 He was buried in Oak Hill Memorial Park, Escondido, San Diego Co., California.15
