     She moved to Iowa with her parents about 1897.17,18,19,20 She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Hamburg, Fremont Co., Iowa, in the household of her parents.21 She appeared on the 1905 State Census of Hamburg, Fremont Co., Iowa, in the household of her parents.22,23,2
     Minnie married first Richard Schooler Hooton, son of J. Smith Hooton and Martha A. Schooler, on 23 Sep 1907 in Pottawattamie Co., Iowa.10,11,12
     Minnie and Richard appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Hamburg, Fremont Co., Iowa, at Washington Park, enumerated 7 May 1910, reporting they rented their home. Their children William and Charles were listed as living with them.24
     Her husband died before 1915.25
     Minnie appeared on the 1915 State Census of Hamburg, Fremont Co., Iowa. Her children William, Charles and Pauline were listed as living with her. She reported she was affiliated with the Methodist Church.26,27,28,29
     Minnie married second Stephen A. Scott, son of John C. Scott and Milinda Call, between 1915 and 1920.13,5,14
     Minnie and Stephen appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Fremont Co., Iowa, on Hamburg Sidney Rd., enumerated 2 Jan 1920, reporting that they owned their home. His daughter by his prior marriage, Ruby, and her children her her prior marriage, William, Charles and Pauline, were listed as living with them.13
     Minnie and Stephen appeared on the 1925 State Census of Walnut, Fremont Co., Iowa, reporting that they owned a home valued at $10,000, on which they carried $2,000 of insurance. Her children Charles, William and Pauline were listed as living with them.5
     Minnie and Stephen appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Fremont Co., Iowa, enumerated 14 Apr 1930, reporting that they owned a home valued at $4,500 and owned a radio. Her son Charles was listed as living with them.30 Her daughter Pauline was listed as an inmate at the Iowa Industrial School for Girls, Beaver Twp., Polk Co., Iowa.31
     Her husband died on 15 Jul 1934.32
     Minnie appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Miramonte, Los Angeles Co., California, enumerated 20 Apr 1940, reporting she had lived in Omaha, Nebraska in 1935. She was living with Dorothy I. Collins, age 32, divorced, and an inspector for a tire factory, while Minnie was not employed. It would seem they were somehow related, but if so how is not known. They reported they were renting their home for $28 per month. Also listed as living with them was John Grace, identified as a lodger.33
     Minnie appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Signal Hill, Los Angeles Co., California, at 2150 E 21st, enumerated 18 Apr 1950, listed as a housekeeper in the home of Dottie D. Hinshaw, a 78-year-old widow, reporting she had worked 48 hours the prior week.34
     Minnie died on 17 Jul 1966 in Los Angeles Co., California, at age 75.15 She was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cypress, Orange Co., California.16
