     Her father died on 12 Jun 1907, when Thelma was about 2 years and 27 days old.19,20,21 Thelma appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Fairmount Twp., Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her mother and step-father, Moses F. Souder.22
     She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Shickshinny, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her mother and new stepfather, Robert E. Culver.23
     She was a mill hand before her marriage.6
     Thelma married William Irvin Hargraves, son of Richard Hargraves and Mary E. Cromer, on 21 Nov 1921 in Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, with William E. Smith, justice of the peace at Plymouth, officiating, after receiving the consent of her mother and his father because they were both minors.12,13,14
