     Nancy Odenbaugh was born in Sep 1869 in Pennsylvania.5,6,7 She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of West Middletown, Washington Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her parents, David Odenbaugh and Phebe Chapman.13
     Nancy appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Urbana, Champaign Co., Illinois, enumerated 8 Jun 1880, with her brother Henry and her paternal grandmother, in the household of Cornelius and Virginia Madden, her aunt and uncle.14
     Nancy married Charles M. Newlin, son of Finley Newlin and Emma A. Wassman, on 4 Feb 1891 in Richmond, Wayne Co., Indiana, with Rev. Alexander Gilchrist officiating.8,9,10
     Nancy and Charles appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Richmond, Wayne Co., Indiana, at 36 South 9th, enumerated 14 Jun 1900, reporting that they were renting their home. Their children Genevieve and Simon were listed as living with them.15
     Nancy appeared with her husband Charles on the 1910 Federal Census of Richmond, Wayne Co., Indiana, in the household of Finley Newlin and Emma A. Wassman, his parents.16
     Charles moved to La Porte, Indiana by 1913, when he was rooming at 912 Monroe Ave. It is not clear whether Nancy moved at the same time or followed later.17,18
     Nancy and Charles appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of La Porte, La Porte Co., Indiana, at 702 Perry St., enumerated 6 Jan 1920, reporting that they rented their home. Their children Genevieve and Paul were listed as living with them.19
     By 1923 Nancy and Charles and their son Paul were living at 112 1st St.20
     Nancy and Charles may have moved out of La Porte for a time. They are not found in the La Porte city directories from 1924 until 1929, and their son Paul is listed as rooming at various addresses during that period. In any case they were in La Porte by 1929, when they and Paul were living at 1030½ Indiana Ave.21
     Nancy and Charles appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of La Porte, La Porte Co., Indiana, at 1030 Indiana Ave., enumerated 7 Apr 1930, reporting that they rented their home, apparently part of a two-family building, for $70 per month, and owned a radio. Their son Paul was listed as living with them.22
     Nancy and Charles and Paul moved to 1305 Michigan Ave. by 1938.23 They appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of La Porte, La Porte Co., Indiana, at 1305 Michigan Ave., enumerated 2 Apr 1940, reporting that they rented their home, for $65 per month, and had lived in the same house in 1935. Their son Paul was listed as living with them.24
     Nancy died in 1941.11 She was buried in Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte, Indiana.12
