     Perry Temple Fallis was born on 2 Jul 1897 in St. Louis, Missouri.10,11,12
     He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of St Louis, Missouri, in the household of his parents, Perry White Fallis and Leonora Hayne Wells.7 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of St Louis, Missouri, in the household of his parents.8
     Perry registered for the draft for World War I on 24 Aug 1918, while living at 4354 N. Euclid Ave, St Louis, Missouri, reporting he was employed by Simmons Hardware Company, in St Louis.18
     He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of St Louis, Missouri, in the household of his parents.9
     Perry married first Gwendolyn Myrtle Hammond on 20 Jul 1920 in Bexar Co., Texas, with Rev. J. E. Gates, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.13,14
     He was a clerk at a drug company by 1920.19
     Perry and Gwendolyn apparently adopted Virginia, daughter of his sister Mildred and her husband Robert T. Irwin, by 1930. No record of an offical adoption has been found, but she lived with them and used his surname until about 1944, when she resumed her birth surname, Irwin.20,21,22
     Perry and Gwendolyn appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of San Antonio, Bexar Co., Texas, at 509 Greer St.., enumerated 12 Apr 1930, reporting they rented their home, for $45 per month, and owned a radio. Their adopted daughter Virginia was listed as living with them.23
     He was a manager at a fountain department in Texas.24
     Perry and Gwendolyn moved to California by 1934 when they were living at 2737 Francis Ave., Los Angeles.25
     Perry and Gwendolyn appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, at 1922 Kent St., enumerated 5 Apr 1940, reporting they rented their home, for $30 per month, and that they had lived in the same city in 1935. Their adopted daughter Virginia was listed as living with them.26
     He was a salesman for a soda fountain supplies company, reporting in 1940 he had worked 40 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, earning $1,860.27 He registered for the draft for World War II on 15 Feb 1942, while living at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, reporting he was employed by Smith Junior Co. of Rochester, New York, a supplier of soda fountain supplies.3
     He was a salesman for a notions company by 1950, reporting in the 1950 census he had worked 40 hours the prior week.28
     Perry and Gwendolyn appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, at 2400 Griffith Park, enumerated 18 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm.29
     Perry and Gwendolyn were living at 4637 Lakewood Blvd., Los Angeles, at the time of her death.30
     His wife died on 29 Oct 1955 in Los Angeles Co., California.31,32
     Perry married second Fern C. Glabe, daughter of Harvey Sebastian Glabe and Nettie Lou Bess, before 1958 in Detroit, Michigan. She had previously been married to LeRoy M. Carpp, Howard Eugene Branham and Mr. Adderman.15,16
     According to family lore, Perry and Fern moved to San Antonio, Texas, for a time, where they ran a hamburger stand, and later moved to southern California.33 When that might have been is unclear, however, as they were registered to vote with his previous address, 4637 Lakewood Blvd., Los Angeles, in 1958, 1960, and 1962.34
     Perry died on 5 Oct 1963 in Los Angeles Co., California, at age 66.17
