Narrative:

     Susannah Rowlett was born on 15 Feb 1808 in Halifax Co., Virginia.5,6
     Susannah married Charles Asbury Bacon, son of Lyddall Bacon and Margaret Crenshaw, on 12 Feb 1831 in Halifax Co., Virginia.7,8
     Susannah and Charles moved to Montgomery Co., Tennessee, in Dec 1832 with their infant son Thomas. They settled on a farm which at the time contained the first block house built in the region.4
     After only a year they moved to Christian Co., Kentucky, settling near Lafayette.11,12 After about two years they moved to Garrettsburg, just as the town was being laid out.4 Susannah and Charles moved to Beverly in 1838.4 In the fall of 1839 he sold his farm and they returned to Lafayette.4
     She was probably the female age 30 to 40 listed in the household of her husband, Charles Asbury Bacon, in the 1840 Federal Census of Lafayette, Christian Co., Kentucky.13
     Susannah died on 11 Oct 1841 at age 33.9,10

Charles and Susannah had two other children, at least one a daughter, who died young and whose names are not known.18,19
