     She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Seymour, Jackson Co., Indiana, in the household of her parents, Elkanah Cobb and Sarah Jane Youtsey.20
     Her mother died on 18 Jul 1866, when Nancy was 9 years old.21,22
     Nancy appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Seymour, Jackson Co., Indiana, in the household of her father, Elkanah Cobb, and her stepmother, Lucy Barnaby.23 She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Jackson Twp., Jackson Co., Indiana, in the household of her father and stepmother.24
     Nancy married Joseph B. Pellens, son of George William Pellens and Louise Darmhouse, on 10 May 1881 at her father's residence one mile west of Seymour, Jackson Co., Indiana, with Rev. Albert Ogle offciating.12,13,14
     Nancy and Joseph settled in Rochester, Indiana, after their marriage.25 They moved to Fort Wayne about 1890.26 They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Wayne Twp., Allen Co., Indiana, at 164 East Berry, enumerated 1 Jun 1900, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage.
