     Orris Perry Cobb was born on 22 Jun 1856 in Indiana.7,8,9
     He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Aurora, Dearborn Co., Indiana, in the household of his parents, Oliver Perry Cobb and Caroline S. Foulke, as Horace.14 He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Center Twp., Dearborn Co., Indiana, in the household of his parents.15
     Orris graduated from high school in Cincinnati, then graduated from Cincinnati Law College.16
     He was admitted to practice law in 1879. In Mar 1893 he formed a partnership with Edwin J. Howard under the firm name of Cobb & Howard. He apparently continued to practice until his death at the age of 84 in 1879.16,17,18,19,20,21
     Orris married Lura C. Milburn, daughter of John Nelson Milburn and Mary E. Hope, on 30 Oct 1884 in Dearborn Co., Indiana, with Rev. E. H. Wood, minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, offciating.10,11
     Orris was named an heir in the will of his father dated 6 Oct 1890 in Aurora, Indiana, His father left a will dated 6 Oct 1890, in which he will left everything to Orris's mother, and if she died first, to be divided between his sister, his sisters-in-law, and his wife.22
     His mother left a will dated 16 Jan 1891, in which she left his father a life estate in her property, after which it was to be divided between his sister, his sister-in-law, and his wife.6
     Orris and Lura appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Norwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at Beech St., enumerated 26 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Listed as living with them were her sister, Nellie F. Milburn, Warren A. Wilber, age 7 who was listed as a boarder, as was his nephew Oliver Gilbert Bailey, a 23-year-old lawyer, and Emma J. Rankin, a 25-year-old servant.23
     Orris and Lura appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Norwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 2623 Norwood Ave., enumerated 28 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Her sister Nellie, Warren A. Wilber, age 17 and listed as a boarder, and Annie M. Moran, a 27-year-old servant, are listed as living with them.24
     Orris and Lura appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Norwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 2623 Norwood Ave., enumerated 7 Jan 1920, reporting that they owned their home, free of mortgage. Her sister Nellie and Laura Ashburn, a 59-year-old servant, are listed as living with them.25
     Orris and Lura appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Norwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 2623 Norwood Ave., enumerated 6 Apr 1930, reporting that they owned a home valued at $10,000, and owned a radio. Her sister Nellie and Laura Ashburn, a 69-year-old servant, are listed as living with them.26
     His wife died on 26 Jan 1937.27
     Orris appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Norwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 2623 Norwood Ave., enumerated 23 Apr 1940, reporting that he owned a home valued at $6,000. His late wife's sister Nellie was listed as living with him, and they reported they had lived in the same house in 1935. Also listed as Edna Lacey, a housekeeper, age 20.28
     Orris died on 25 Aug 1940 in Norwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at age 84.12,7 He was buried in Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.13
