     Lora Fitch was born about 1790 in Vermont.5,6,7,8
     Lora married William Cobb, son of John Cobb and Mary Fuller, on 6 Apr 1809 in Pawlet, Rutland Co., Vermont.9,10
     Lora and William moved to Vernon, Oneida Co., New York, before 1812. His younger brother, Gideon joined them there.13,14,15 (See map.) William and Lora moved to Rochester, New York, about 1813.16,17,18
     Her husband died on 21 Sep 1826 in Louisville, Kentucky, while working on a mill there.19,20,21
     Lora was probably the female age 40 to 50 appearing on the 1840 Federal Census of Rochester, Monroe Co., New York, in the household of William Ingersol Hanford, husband of her daughter Julia.22
     Lora appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Rochester, Monroe Co., New York, in the household of her William and Julia. Her youngest daughter, Lora as also living with them.23
     Lora moved to Michigan, where her daughter Abigail and her family were living, before 1860. Lora appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Monroe, Monroe Co., Michigan, in the household of her daughter Abigail and her husband, Charles Greene Johnson.24 Lora appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Monroe, Monroe Co., Michigan, in the household of Abigail and Charles.25
     Lora died on 20 Dec 1871.11 She was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Monroe, Monroe Co., Michigan, in the plot of her daughter Abigail and her husband.12
