     Sarah E. Reigle was born on 18 Oct 1868 in Dallas Twp., Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania.8,9,10 She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Dallas Twp., Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her parents, Jacob Reigle and Olive Rogers.4
     Sarah married first Joseph Souder, son of George Souder and Hannah Sutliff, about 1883.11,12
     Sarah and Joseph appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Dallas Twp., Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 2 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Their children Corey, Olive and Alvin were listed as living with them.24
     Her husband died on 12 Jun 1907 in Lehman Twp., Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania.25,26,27
     Sarah was living in Lehman Center, working as sexton of a church, before her second marriage.28
     Sarah married second Moses F. Souder on 25 Mar 1910 in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, with John P. Pollock, Wilkes-Barre alderman, officiating. He was related to her first husband somehow, but they were apparently not brothers.13,14,15
     Sarah and Moses appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Fairmount Twp., Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 7 May 1910, reporting that they rented their farm. Her children by her prior marriage, Alvin, Gladys and Thelma, were listed as living with them, as was Miles Brown, age 64, listed as a boarder.29
     Moses died on 20 Aug 1911 in Harveyville, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania.30,31,32
     On 2 Apr 1912 Sarah filled for the payments due on her late husband's civil war pension that had been accrued but not yet paid. She said she was then living in Lake Twp., Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania. On the same date she applied for a widow's pension based on his service. Her widow's pension was rejected on 30 Apr 1912 on the ground that the cause of death, stomach cancer, had not been shown to be due to his military service.33
     Sarah moved to Wilkes-Barre by 1915 with her son Alvin, where they lived in the rear of 61 Loomis.34 Sarah was living in Salem Twp. before her third marriage.28
     Sarah married third Robert E. Culver, son of Lyman Culver and Mary Zimmerman, on 8 Oct 1918 in Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, with L. F. Seward officiating.16,17
     Sarah and Robert appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Shickshinny, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, at Chestnut St., enumerated 9 Jan 1920, reporting that they were renting their home. Her daughter by her first marriage, Thelma, were listed as living with them.35
     Neither Sarah nor Robert have been found in the 1930 census despite an exhaustive search.
     Robert died on 30 Aug 1937 in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania.36,37
     Sarah was living in 93 Irene St., Shickshinny, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, at the time of her death.6
     Sarah died on 13 Apr 1939 in Nanticoke, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, at age 70.18,19,20 She was buried on 15 Apr 1939 in Idetown Cemetery, Idetown, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, next to her first husband.21,22,23
