     Helen Doris Madden was born on 26 Sep 1916 in Agenda, Kansas.9,10,11
     She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Agenda, Republic Co., Kansas, in the household of her parents, Arthur Allen Madden and Nellie May Roughton.4
     She moved to Oregon between 1920 and 1930 with her parents. She appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Ashland, Jackson Co., Oregon, in the household of her parents.5
     Helen married first George F. Reigel, son of Ralph Orzben Reigel and Edith Jennie Roberts, on 11 Mar 1934 in Jackson Co., Oregon.12,13,14
     Helen and George moved to northern California by 1935. They appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Hilt, Siskiyou Co., California, enumerated 18 Apr 1940, reporting that they rented their home, for $9 per month, and had lived in rural Siskiyou Co. in 1935. Their children Wylin and Richard were listed as living with them.24
     Helen and George moved to Medford, Oregon, by 1942, when they were living at 128 Wimer.25
     Helen and George were divorced on 3 Mar 1945 in Jackson Co., Oregon, after she filed on Feb 1945, on grounds of cruelty. He did not contest.15,16,17
     Helen married second Harvey Merritt Schilling, son of Harvey M. Schilling and Etta L. Acuff, in 1946.18,19,20
     Helen and Harvey settled in Ashland after their marriage.26 They appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Ashland, Jackson Co., Oregon, at 307 Meade, enumerated 26 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. Her children Wylin and Richard were listed as living with them.27
     She was a bookkeeper at a creamery, reporting in the 1950 census she had worked 24 hours the prior week. She also reported working 32 weeks in 1949, earning $800 in wages or salary, and $385 in interest, dividends, etc. in 1950.28
     Helen and Harvey moved to 1260 Iowa St. by 1953.29 By 1955 they had moved to 1523 Webster St.30
     Harvey died on 29 Dec 1973 in Jackson Co., Oregon.31,32,33
     Helen died on 15 Dec 2005 in Lane Co., Oregon, at age 89.21,22 She was buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Ashland, Jackson Co., Oregon.23
