     Virginia Gapsch was born on 21 Dec 1894 in Missouri.8,9,10 She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of St. Louis, Missouri in the household of her parents, Gustav Frederick Gapsch and Ceres Barrioz.1 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Carondelet Twp., Missouri in the household of her parents.2
     Virginia was an apprentice in the millinery business in 1910.2
     Virginia married a Elmer W. Ryan.11
     Virginia and Elmer were divorced on 27 Mar 1980 in Kern Co., California.12
     Virginia died on 21 Jul 1987 in Kern Co., California, at age 92.13
     
Research Note, 20 Dec 2016:
She may have been married to a Mr. Johnson before her marriage to Ryan. Her middle name in her death record is Johnson, which has not been associated with her as a chilld. No other records of her and Elmer Ryan have been found. However none of the several records of a Virginia Johnson born in Missouri about 1894 can be established as hers.13
