     Elizabeth and Johann arrived in Boston, Massachusetts, on 12 Jul 1907, with their children John, Rosa, Henry, Jack and Katharina, aboard the S. S. Cymric, having departed Liverpool 3 Jul 1907. They stated they intended to join his brother, Gottlieb Wiest, in Palatine, Cook Co., Illinois.14,15,16
     Elizabeth and Johann appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Adams Co., North Dakota, enumerated 15 Jun 1910, reporting that the family owned its farm, free of mortgage. Their children John, Rosa, Henry, Jack and Katharina were listed as living with them.17
